Work sample · fictional brand
A brand system for a skincare studio. Eight photographs and one brand sheet turned into five finished applications.
The client walks in, changes, lies down and leaves empty-handed. A stationery manual is no use to this business: the real surfaces are the cloth that touches the skin and the screen where the booking happens.
The brand green is not printed anywhere. It is the uniform, the headband, the upholstery of the bench. It appears inside every photograph as one more object, and that is what makes the pieces read as the same place even when the treatment changes.
A studio does not bill one cleanse: it bills four. If the pieces look like loose services, the system fails at exactly what the business cares about. Continuity is built from what does not change between photographs: the same light, the same client, the same framing, the same skin left unretouched.
Nobody looks at one post: they open the profile and see nine at once. That is where it is decided whether this looks like a studio with judgement or an account posting whatever it can get. The green shows up in all nine and always inside the scene, the light is the same, and the client repeats wherever a face is visible: that is why the grid reads as a process.
The text sits inside the image with no scrim behind it: the photograph is composed leaving the space where the words will land.
It is the first thing a client needs in order to decide whether she comes in today or books another day. Treatments are grouped by duration, and the ones that get added to a session already under way are listed separately.
The only thing left on the client phone is the conversation. Confirming, reminding and offering the next appointment are written in the same voice as the post: that is where she decides to come back, and it costs nothing in advertising.
MANTO is an invented brand, built to show the system. The studio does not exist, nor the address, nor the people in the photographs.
The real work is done with each client own photographs, name and services.
