An ad specialist running campaigns for a supplement brand asked us for fresh ideas: the whole account was running on a single piece of copy. We read what buyers write when nobody is selling to them, and the concepts came out of that, written within Meta's ad policies and the country's advertising rules.

He buys once the date is set.

In what buyers write, the search starts with a specific day: “this Friday”, “now that I've met someone”. Delivery takes three to five business days, so a man with a date has to order days ahead. That delay gives the brand an honest reason for urgency.

PerfilProfile

A man of 45 or older, dating again after years (divorce, widowhood or the end of a long relationship), with a date already set.

Qué temeHis fears

Quedar mal con alguien que le importa. Que se sepa que se preparó. Pagar por algo que resulte ser «solo [ingrediente]».Letting down someone who matters. Anyone finding out he prepared for it. Paying for something that turns out to be “just [ingredient]”.

To get to the date with everything sorted, and nobody the wiser.

Cómo compraHow he buys

Away from where he usually shops, or online. He asks whether the package shows what's inside.

ConfianzaConfidence level

The age range is measured. That he is dating again is a hypothesis, and the first concept is built to test it.

Escrito dentro de las reglasWritten within the rules

No promised effects. Supplement advertising rules forbid presenting the product as changing the body or giving extraordinary abilities.
Meta's policy doesn't allow an ad to assert or imply the viewer's age, health or sex life.
One less reason not to buy. Since the main benefit can't be stated, four of the five concepts remove an objection: that it won't arrive in time, not knowing what it is, the embarrassment of asking for it, and not knowing whether it works. The fifth shows the scene itself.
Ready for the designer and the ad specialist. Each concept comes with its angle, funnel stage, visual brief, primary text, headline and the reasoning behind it, plus one tracking row per opening line.

The client runs the campaigns, so there are no campaign results here. The brand, the exact product and the account data are confidential, which is why there are brackets where an ingredient or the name would go, and the ads appear as mockups.
